I am going off that list a put in one vote for

Santa's Slay

''Not really a Christmas film but when the kids were here we always watched Oliver''

Yea I like this too, and like the wizard of oz, the great escape, etc, it has fuck all to do with Christmas, but is a Christmas film. I think the Ben Kingsley one in 2005 is the best version.

Nurse, she was good in Arthur with Dudley Moore, loved it when John Gielgud's character Hobson tells her to steal something casual

Judy Garland makes me heave. I just loathed her. Ditto her daughter.

Few would deny the charm of the four leading performances, particularly that of the wonderful Ray Bolger, but you are right. Every second they are offscreen the film drips with paedophile and sundry unintended creepiness. The Lollipop Guild scene may be one of the most unpleasant things ever committed to celluloid.

Scrooge the musical is a must every Xmas.

Its a wonderful life is probably one of the worst films I've ever seen.

I don't know why but every Christmas I watch the Bourne films. Just love em and treat myself to them over the festive period.

Oh and Alistair Sim's Scrooge. Classic.
